“Flossie has a voice as clear and tuneful as a lark, with a pureness of quality to stop you in your tracks in the forest of a song”, Colum Sands.
“Flossie’s great! She came over from France and wowed everybody with her sensational voice, her gutsy guitar style, eclectic repertoire and franglais patter”, Vin Garbutt.
Flossie is a French singer who became involved in the Folk Scene in 2001-2002 whilst on a teacher exchange in the North East of England. She then returned to France for a year but missed the life she had in England and came back to Darlington.
Since 2003 she has released 10 albums. Her repertoire is very open as she likes all sorts of different music genres. Her numbers include ‘Roll on the Day’ by Alan Taylor, ‘Make up the Miles’ by Colum Sands, and ‘Je ne regrette rien’ and ‘La Vie en Rose’ by Edith Piaf and many more.
If you have not seen her yet we are sure that there will be plenty in her repertoire to suite your taste.
